How much do colored gemstone rings from Jens Hansen cost?

Pricing depends on the stone type, quality, and size, as well as the metal and design. Semi-precious stones in silver are the most accessible, while rare gemstones in gold or platinum sit at the premium end.

Can I replace or upgrade the gemstone in my Jens Hansen ring later?

The workshop offers resetting services. If you want to upgrade to a larger or different stone in the future, the goldsmiths can modify the setting to accommodate the new gem.

What metals pair best with colored gemstone rings?

Yellow gold enhances warm-toned stones like rubies and citrines, while white gold and platinum complement cooler stones like sapphires and aquamarines. Rose gold pairs beautifully with pink and peach-toned gems. The team can advise on the best combination.

Are colored gemstone rings from Jens Hansen suitable as engagement rings?

Colored gemstone engagement rings are increasingly popular as an alternative to traditional diamonds. Sapphires, emeralds, and rubies are durable enough for daily wear and add distinctive color to an engagement ring.

Can a colored gemstone ring be customized with Elvish engraving?

Adding Elvish Tengwar engraving to the band of a gemstone ring is a popular customization. This combines the beauty of a colored stone with the meaningful personal touch of a custom inscription.

How should I care for a colored gemstone ring?

Care requirements vary by stone type. Harder stones like sapphires and rubies are more durable, while softer stones like opals need gentler handling. Jens Hansen provides specific care instructions with each piece based on the stone used.

Does Jens Hansen certify the gemstones used in their rings?

Significant gemstones come with relevant documentation regarding their origin and quality. For high-value stones, independent certification can be arranged. Discuss certification requirements during the ordering process.
