This stunning solid gold Gollum ring is crafted to the exact shape, thickness and proportions of the original movie prop and made from gold, sourced from Middle-earth (New Zealand), making it the best Gollum ring for sale available in the market.

White Gold / Rhodium Plating

This ring is only available in yellow gold, but if you prefer the white gold color and don't mind getting it replated every 1 or 2 years then we or any competent jeweler could plate it for you with precious rhodium for a stunning white gold look.

The One Ring created for The Lord of the Rings trilogy was designed and made by Jens Hansen - Gold & Silversmith of Nelson, New Zealand (Middle-earth).

Jens Hansen's reputation as a brilliant ringmaker was one of the main reasons he was approached to make the One Ring for The Lord of the Rings. Today Jens Hansen's son, Halfdan Hansen, continues his father's legacy, and supervises the production of The One Ring for Weta.

Our gorgeous solid gold Gollum ring has the famous words in ancient Elvish runes engraved on the inside and outside of the ring, as well as on the beautiful wooden gift box made from natural Walnut timber. The box can be displayed open thanks to an ingenious and almost invisible elastic hinge or closed with a strong rare-earth magnet.

The lid features a The Lord of the Rings logo on the outside and the logos of Weta and Jens Hansen on the inside. The inside bottom of the box is lined with blue velvet.

Like anything made from natural timber, variations in grain and colour will occur and the colour may also change over time. This is an entirely natural process.

We can also offer separately a Sterling Silver chain - the 25 inch (65 cm) long chain upon which Frodo Baggins carried the One Ring in The Lord of the Rings. Designed by Jens Hansen, this chain, with its unique S-shaped clasp is an exact replica of the chain that features in the close-up shots in the movies.

Aftermarket Resizing

We or any competent jeweler should be able to aftermarket slightly expand or compress and repolish this ring by up to + 1 size US or -1.5 sizes US. As an exclusive to Jens Hansen website customers we offer this service free of charge.  If you would like us to do so please indicate in the dropdown.

 

Aftermarket Engraving

The majority of the surface of this ring is engraved already and cannot be further adjusted, changed or altered in any way. (Please order the Jens Hansen Movie Ring if you would like to incorporate a custom-engraved design).

I am so happy about my precious 10K gold ring. Its heft and feel is sublime for a LoTR fan like me! I held back happy tears when I put it on for the first time, as it brought back so many beautiful memories of the early 2000’s. When I received the precious, I was surprised to see that it is shinier than the day it was forged in Mount Doom, in the land of Mordor. I am a bit disappointed though in that I do not disappear when wearing the precious. I believe I can rest assured that Sauron will not conquer my home land in search of the one ring. Although I am not convinced that Gollum will not try to steal the precious.

This birthday gift will go down in the epic for sure. Ring is exactly as in the movie, gold and beautiful. Packaged well. The only displeasure to note was the additional country-specific taxes were not mentioned in the purchase menu, and that is not the fault of JensHansen at all, just would have been nice to know there may be additional costs once items cross borders.
