This is the Jens Hansen Replica Ring matched with a 'little One' ring with the complete Elvish Love Poem beautifully laser engraved around the outside of each band.

  • 18ct yellow gold - complete fidelity to the original, maximum gold content and lifelong durability.  (Rich golden color).
  • 14ct yellow gold - a mid-price option that is exceptionally hardwearing & the minimum quality considered as real gold in many countries (Straw yellow color)
  • 9ct yellow gold - the best solid gold option on a budget. (Slightly brassy yellow color)

Custom Engraving

The price of this ring includes the Elvish Love Poem engraving but if you would like to customize or completely change the engraving just let us know when you make the order in the Notes/Comments field during Checkout.  For example, you might want a different message in English or Elvish on the outside, or the Love Poem on the inside instead of outside etc.  Just let us know and we will send you a proof confirmation before we start the engraving.

These rings can also be engraved with a personal message inside the band for an additional fee - click here to add the extra inside engraving option to your shopping cart when you order. 

NB: Our laser engraver can handle any message, pattern, pictures or symbols desired so long as you are using standard fonts, or can provide a two-tone (e.g. Black & White) image file AND there is enough room for your message to fit on the ring.  We CANNOT for legal reasons engrave the same elvish script that features on our licensed The One Ring designs.  Other messages in elvish or any other language are ok, of course.

About The World’s Most Famous Ring

The Elvish Love Ring is a recreation of the “Movie Ring” that played the role of the “One Ring” in the “Lord of the Rings” movie trilogy by Peter Jackson.
The design is based on how one of Jens’ sons, Thorkild, described the ring as a child: “Simple, heavy band.”
Since the first movie premiered in December 2001, the Movie Ring has been the most recognizable ring in the world.

Timeless craftsmanship

Jens Hansen trained many of New Zealand’s leading contemporary jewellers and his pieces are seen in museums, galleries, and royal collections alike.
His works were known for their craftsmanship and  design quality and have lasted generations. Many of his early designs are still just as relevant as when they were first sold decades ago.
Thanks to its elegant, yet recognizable shape that fits every finger, the Movie Ring is perhaps the most timeless piece he ever designed.

Make the ring your own

The original Movie Ring was 7mm wide (just over 1/4 inch) and made of 18ct yellow gold.
Your Elvish Love Ring can be an exact replica, but you can also choose from three other widths (3mm, 4mm, and 5mm), four other materials (white gold, red gold and platinum), and three other gold qualities (9ct, 14ct, and—yellow gold only—22ct).

The engraving is often what truly gives a ring its meaning. You can choose your own Elvish (or any other language) engraving for both inside and outside the ring.
The Elvish Love Poem fits perfectly on the outside of the ring:
