The Jens Hansen Legacy Collection: A Curated Celebration of Signature Designs

Every year we honour the birthday of our beloved Danish Founder, Jens Hansen by selecting one of his distinctive designs for our Legacy Collection.  Originally created in the 60s and 70s when Danish styling was becoming recognizably famous world-over, each piece in the Collection reflects its iconic heritage of fine design -- unique, timeless, beautifully wearable.

Jens’ work always had a constant undercurrent of Danish architectural simplicity, but he liked to continually push the design boundaries.  To mark the 40th Anniversary of Jens Hansen in Nelson in 2008, we selected specific designs, whose form had endured and defied fashion, but that had not been made for decades.  These we recreated as the Legacy Collection as the Foundation Release.  

Now, every year in July we add to the collection.

This special range is the first ever of its kind to be released from our Nelson jewellery workshop.  Each piece is made-to-order with the metal and gem of your choice and bears the special edition anniversary hallmark, authenticating it as a Legacy Collection collectable.  Each piece will also come with a replica of its original workshop production card.
