A wedding band is worn every day for decades, so the profile and metal matter more than almost any other ring you’ll buy. This collection covers the main shapes we make, from the simplest band to our own designs.

Choosing a Profile

The profile is the cross-section of the band, and it decides how the ring feels on your finger.

• Half round - our Classic Half Round band is rounded outside and flat inside, in widths from 3mm to 12mm.
• Flat and stepped - a flat band reads more modern; our Stepped Edge band adds a stepped detail to each edge at 6mm.
• Comfort fit - our Hammer Finished band pairs a half-round outside with a comfort-fit inside, at 7mm, and a pebbled, hand-worked surface.
• The Movie Ring profile - the curved band we designed for the films, in 7mm, 5mm or 3-4mm widths. See Lord of the Rings wedding rings.

Plain, Two-Tone or Set with Diamonds

Plain polished gold is the classic choice. Bi-tone bands combine two golds, such as white with a yellow centre strip, and our Pavé Diamond Wedding Band sets twelve 2mm diamonds into a slim 3mm band that sits well beside an engagement ring.

For something softer, our vine and woodland bands carry hand-engraved leaves.

Width and Metal

Wider bands, 7mm and up, are the traditional men’s choice; 2.5mm to 5mm suits a band worn next to an engagement ring. Yellow gold comes in 9ct to 22ct, with red and white gold and platinum across most designs.
