Lord of the Rings Engagement Rings, Set on the Original Movie Ring Band

Every engagement ring here uses a narrower version of the Movie Ring, the band Peter Jackson’s team chose from our fifteen prototypes. The stone sits into that familiar curved profile, so the ring feels like part of the same family as the wedding band that follows.

Three choices shape the ring: the setting, the stone and the band width.

How the Setting Styles Differ

The setting decides how the stone sits and how much of it you see.

• Classic - a six-prong setting, the most traditional look, holding a round diamond of about half a carat.
• Contemporary - four prongs, a lighter frame that shows off the diamond’s brilliance.
• Modern - a straight bezel that wraps the diamond in metal and gives it the most protection.
• Elegant - a tapered bezel that flows down into the band.
• Sleek - a small diamond set flush into the band, for a low, smooth ring with a quiet sparkle.

Most styles come on a 4mm band. The Classic Slim and Contemporary Slim versions use a 3mm band for a finer ring.

Round, Pear, Oval and Other Diamond Shapes

Alongside round brilliant diamonds, we make these designs with pear, oval, marquise, cushion, princess and emerald-cut diamonds. Most come in about a third or about a half carat, in three qualities: G/H SI, D/F VS, or D IF for the highest colour and clarity.

If you would prefer colour, our precious gemstone engagement rings are set with a natural emerald, sapphire or ruby on the slim band.

Engraving the Engagement Ring

The band can be engraved inside, outside or both. On the outside we place the stone between two phrases of about 25 characters each, or between the two lines of our Elvish Love Poem that we engrave as standard: One ring to show our love, And forever to entwine us.
