Halfdan Hansen is the son of Jens Hansen. Jens Hansen made all the different versions of the One Ring for the LOTR movies. Sadly, Jens is dead, but we are lucky enough to get an interview with Halfdan, his son.
The first question: in the behind-the-scenes book for The Two Towers written by Brian Sibley, your brother Thorkild said that the first thing Jens Hansen Gold and Silversmith did was to make 15 different prototypes for the Ring, all having the same simplicity, but being different in size and weight. Could you describe how some of the other rings looked, compared to the final outcome?
