Custom Gemstone Landscape Signet Ring, Yellow Gold
FAQs
We're Here to Help!
What is an Elven monogram, and how is it created?
An Elven monogram is a stylized version of your initials, designed using a custom Elvish-inspired alphabet created by Daniel Reeve, the calligrapher from The Lord of the Rings™ films. When you order, you can request your initials to be transformed into this exclusive monogram and engraved onto your signet ring.
Can I use my own artwork or symbol instead of the Elven monogram?
Yes. If you have a family crest, personal logo, or another meaningful symbol, you can provide your own artwork for engraving. Jens Hansen can engrave both hand-drawn designs and digital files — their team will confirm sizing and layout before proceeding.
What metals are available for Elvish Signet Rings?
Elvish Signet Rings are offered in solid Yellow Gold, Red Gold, and White Gold & Platinum. Each ring is made to order from solid precious metal — never plated — and finished by hand in Jens Hansen’s New Zealand workshop.
Are these rings suitable for everyday wear?
Yes. The rings use the same curved and balanced band shape as the Movie Ring, making them extremely comfortable for daily use. With proper care, they’re built to be worn every day and passed down over time.
Can I choose the shape and size of the signet face?
Absolutely. The collection offers five face shapes: round, oval, navette, quadrant, and landscape. Each comes in different proportions so you can choose a style that fits your hand and visual preference. Larger faces offer more space for detailed engraving, while smaller faces give a more subtle look.
