Jens Hansen are the proud creators of The One Ring for Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings movies.
Due to different screens and monitors it can be hard to ensure colour accuracy but the attached photo of our Movie Ring replicas is useful as it shows the relative colour differences well. You can see 9ct is a bit more 'brassy' yellow, 14ct is more lemon/straw yellow and 18 and 22 ct are more richly golden.

To investigate getting a custom version of our Sleek Engagement Ring in silver with a black diamond you should email us directly or make a non-obligation online appointment and we’d be glad to help explain the process and options.
As New Zealand based jewellers we have traditionally used the British gold carat standards of 9 and 18ct gold for the majority of our pieces. 12ct is not a commonly used carat anywhere in the world. For our official The One Ring in yellow gold we do make this in 10K gold which is a USA standard but we don’t typically use 10ct for our custom to-order pieces.

Why is there such a gap between 9 ct and 14 ct yellow gold? Why is there no 10 ct or 12 ct yellow gold?
