Dr. Tom Harrison, who worked with Jens in the Jens Hansen workshop for a decade in the 1970s and 80s, has just celebrated his 100th birthday! He received the Queen's Telegram, and his daughter Mary's family gave him a Jens Hansen silver fern brooch.
Tom with his telegram.
Tom was an army surgeon during World War Two, and a psychiatrist at Queen Mary Hospital
in Hanmer, New Zealand.
After his retirement, he came to work at the workshop with Jens, before moving to Perth to be closer to his children and grandchildren.
Happy birthday, Tom.
