JENS HANSEN LOVE STORIES
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering Jens Hansen Love Stories, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Jens Hansen Love Stories begins at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) onDecember 1, 2012 and ends at 12:00 p.m. EST on January 29, 2013. ("Entry Period").
We are not responsible for entries that we do not receive for any reason, or for entries that we receive but are not decipherable for any reason.
We will disqualify:
Any incomplete or illegible entry; and
Any entries received after the Entry Period has closed, and
Any entries that do not comply with our Terms and Conditions.
COMMON TERMS USED IN THESE RULES
These are the official rules that govern how the Jens Hansen Love Stories promotion will operate.
In these rules, "we," "our," and "us" refer to Jens Hansen Gold and Silversmith, the sponsor of the contest. "You" refers to an eligible entrant.
WINNER SELECTION
After the close of the Entry Period, all qualified entries will go in the draw.
Nine finalists will be selected by a panel of judges.
The judges are:
Jenny Walton
Jenny is the manager of the Nelson Wedding Show.
Halfdan Hansen, Jens Hansen
Halfdan is the owner of Jens Hansen Gold and Silversmith, and son of the original founder of the workshop. He took over management with his brother Thorkild after their father Jens died in 1999.
As a true believer in love and happy-ever-afters, Halfdan is looking forward to again discovering the Love Stories Nelson has to offer.
Sarah Hutt, Willow Floral Design
Sarah is passionate about floral design, and loves being able to incorporate her artistic talent into creating special pieces for special people. As a fully trained florist, her skills range from fun Hand tied Bouquets and arrangements to intricate, individual wedding work. http://www.willowfloraldesign.co.nz/
Selection will be based on the following requirements:
1. Local residents
Finalists will currently live in the Nelson/Marlborough region, and will have done so for a minimum of 2 years.
2. New story
Finalists will have not been finalists or winners in Jens Hansen Love Stories previously.
3. How you tell your story
Finalists will have told their Love Story in a compelling way that demonstrates their romance!
If you are confirmed as a finalist of this Contest:
You agree that you currently live in the Nelson/Marlborough region, and can be available for the following dates.
You agree to be present at the Nelson Wedding Show, Trafalgar Centre, 5 May 2013.
You agree to be available in Nelson for the weekend 16-17th February 2013, to be photographed and filmed for the purposes of the Contest.
You agree that your story, photographs, and video may be edited and used by Jens Hansen online and in print, or in any other media, in connection with Love Stories.
You agree that your photo may be used in signage on the Jens Hansen workshop, Trafalgar Square, Nelson.
If you are confirmed as a winner of this Contest:
You agree that your story, photographs, and video may be edited and used by Jens Hansen online and in print, or in any other media, in connection with Love Stories.
If for any reason the advertised prize is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value; and you may not designate someone else as the winner.
If you are unable or unwilling to accept your prize, we will award it to an alternate potential winner.
If you accept a prize you will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes and shipping and handling costs related to accepting the prize.
THE PRIZES
The Voter Prize (winner chosen randomly from those who vote for their favourite Love Story) is worth $600, and will be a choice of either:
1. The specified pair of diamond and gold studs, or
2. The specified pair of diamond and gold drop earrings, or
3. The specified diamond and gold pendant.
The prize for each of the nine Jens Hansen Love Stories finalist couples is worth $600, and will be a choice of either:
1. The specified pair of diamond and gold studs, or
2. The specified pair of diamond and gold drop earrings, or
3. The specified diamond and gold pendant.
The prize for the final winner of the Jens Hansen Love Stories is worth $1000, and will be a choice of either:
1. The specified pair of diamond and gold studs, or
2. The specified pair of diamond and gold drop earrings, or
3. The specified diamond and gold pendant.
Additional prizes as part of the Wedding Show 2013
1. The prize offered by Jens Hansen as part of the Wedding Show 2013 Winter Wedding Package is worth $1500, and will be a gold groom’s wedding band, and
These prizes can be negotiated in favour of a credit towards a different piece of jewellery by Jens Hansen Gold and Silversmith, to the same or higher value. Jens Hansen Gold and Silversmith reserves the right to deny an application for credit.
WHAT OTHER CONDITIONS ARE YOU AGREEING TO BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST?
By entering this Contest you agree:
• To abide by these Official Rules; and
• That the judges’ decisions will be final and binding on all matters related to this Contest; and
• That by accepting a prize, Jens Hansen may use your proper name and photograph online and in print, or in any other media, in connection with this Contest, without payment or compensation to you, except where prohibited by law.
WHAT IF SOMETHING UNEXPECTED HAPPENS AND THE CONTEST CAN'T RUN AS PLANNED?
If cheating, a virus, bug, catastrophic event, or any other unforeseen or unexpected event that cannot be reasonably anticipated or controlled, affects the fairness and / or integrity of this Contest, we reserve the right to cancel, change or suspend the Contest. This right is reserved whether the event is due to human or technical error. If a solution cannot be found to restore the integrity of the Contest, we reserve the right to select winners from among all eligible entries received before we had to cancel, change or suspend the Contest.
