New Zealand Dollar falls to 22 month low

The New Zealand dollar has declined dramtically in value over the last few months. Today it hit a 22 month low of 60.5 cents US. This time last year 1 $NZ = 0.71 $US.

For our international customers this roughly translates into a 15% saving on any jewellery purchased from our online store - New Zealand's loss = Your gain !

Jens Hansen Cup goes to 'Whio'

The Jens Hansen Contemporary Gold & Silversmith team in Nelson would like to warmly congratulate Clevedon's Peter Sewell for Whio, which won the Jens Hansen Cup at the Seresin Estate NZ Antique and Classic Boat Show earlier this month. The show, held this year at the South Island's Lake Rotoiti, attracted 170 craft from around the country, but Whio came out on top, clearly demonstrating the Jens Hansen Cup's values of quality and design.

We love our rings!

Hi,

I wanted to let you know how much we love our rings! They are simply exquisite, and definitely worth every penny. It was very exciting to be able to visit the store and hold the rings that were actually used in the filming! I'm sending a few photos from our wedding that took place on Forsyth Island on February 11th.
