Face to face with the One Ring in Boston

For those of you close to Boston there is still time to catch the smash hit exhibition of the summer:

The Lord of the Rings
Motion picture Trilogy
The Exhibition

One of the highlights of the show is the exhibit Face to Face with the One Ring. We don't want to give anything away to those who haven't seen it yet, but we can say how proud that the ring on display is properly credited to Jens Hansen.

Those of you with an eye for detail will note that we only used a 9ct gold ring for the display rather than the 18ct gold Ring used for the movies - that's show biz for you folks :-)

5th Anniversary of Jens' passing

Today is the 5th Anniversary of Jens Hansen's untimely death after a short battle with cancer. He passed away on August 10, 1999 aged 59. Thorkild & I miss him greatly and wish he was here today - not just for ourselves and the rest of the family but for him to see the legacy he has left.
