Halfdan Hansen is the son of Jens Hansen. Jens Hansen made all the different versions of the One Ring, for the LOTR movies. Sadly, Jens is dead, but we are lucky enough to get an interview with Haldfan, his son. Here it is!

1. In the behind-the-scenes book for The Two Towers written by Brian Sibley, your brother Thorkild said that at the first Jens Hansen Gold and Silversmith did was to make 15 different prototypes for the Ring, all having the same simplicity, but being different in size and weight. Could you describe how some of the other rings looked, compared to the final outcome.

We were honored to have a visit today from Cirdan aka the Editor-in-Chief of the largest German LOTR fan website www.herr-der-ringe-film.de
